South Australian cruiseship fans are set to be spoiled with multiple visits from MS Astor headed your way.

MS Astor will first arrive at 5.30 am on Saturday 17 Feburary 2018 at the Outer Harbour Passenger Terminal, Lady Ruthven Drive, North Haven. Arriving at the end of her Bight Cruise from Fremantle, she will spend the day in Adelaide before commencing her 8 night Tasmania Adventure cruise, leaving 4 pm.

MS Astor will once again join the Adelaidian community on the following dates:

Sunday 25 February 2018 7.30 am to 5 pm - Tasmanian Adventure
Wednesday 28 February 2018 5.30 am to 3 pm – Tasmania Explorer
Wednesday 7 March 2018 5.30 am to 3 pm - Coastal Explorer

MS Astor is a premium style cruise liner well known within the European market. Amongst the smaller of the cruise ships, she is a perfect choice for those guests that do not like crowds. She is 176 metres in length with 7 passenger decks, and carries 650 passengers and 300 crew, providing a passenger to crew ratio of 2.17:1.

Guest accommodation ranges from four berth to twin and single cabins, either inside or ocean view. There are also premium, superior, deluxe and senator suites or for those who wish complete luxury, the Astor Suite.

Astor provides leisurely days, carefree evenings and superb cuisine. Guests can choose from activities on the ship's daily programme. They can take a stroll on the sun deck, do yoga or maybe challenge themselves with a game of chess. Then relax by the pool with a good book.

Dinners are leisurely and guests can choose from the pool deck buffet, Waldorf Restaurant, Admiral's or Commodore's Salon. After dinner, guests can find their way to the Astor Lounge to join in the entertainment including shows and late night cabarets. If that is all too much though, guests can enjoy music from the resident pianist and perhaps take a game of cards with new friends.

Cruises on MS Astor will take guests to Freemantle, Esperance, Melbourne, Hobart, Burnie, Kangaroo Island and Port Lincoln.

Travel to the Outer Harbour by train or car. To utilise train services to Outer Harbour, passengers embarking at Adelaide Railway Station are advised to enter and exit via the northern barrier gates 20-26 (closest to the ticket office). For further information, please go to Adelaide Metro .

The event is free and child-friendly.

Please Note: This is a viewing only event, and no access is available onboard.

All times given are subject to change. For further information go to Cruise Ships in Adelaide or Facebook .
