Forever tempting me with their cookies and brownies
In a world of $3.50 coffees, Mrs Fields in Melbourne Central is a saving grace. Here a small coffee is $3, like it should be. I've never been disappointed by these guys.
According to their website they "only use the finest coffee beans, picked from plantations in Brazil, Columbian, India and Papua New Guinea. What makes this blend stand out is its strong combination of bold aroma and flavour with a great crema!"
Despite being at least 50 cents cheaper than nearby alternatives, Mrs Fields still offers loyalty cards – after six coffees your next one is free. For addicts like me, this starts to add up quickly.
The staff here also make the effort of trying to remember people's names, and I appreciate that.
