Hilariously written by Brendan O'Carroll, who is the star of the show as Agnes Brown, along with his extended real life and screen family.

Hate her or love her, those that love her, love her ability to speak her mind no matter what the consequences may be and although you may find her brash and loud, she has a heart of gold and if we delve into our families, most of us can find a member just like Agnes, who although means well, but tends to make a mess of everything.
