The Langham, Sydney is famous for their delectable pastries and other treats and we love that this event makes the more formal tradition of afternoon tea accessible to our kids.
This egg-cellent tea will spotlight some delicious Easter-themed delights, including carrot and ginger edible garden beds, hot cross bun macaroons, golden egg bonbons, carrot cake, mandarin and white chocolate eggs, Mr Rabbit tartlets, and more.
And of course, a high tea just isn't a high tea without fluffy scones served with jam and cream (my kids' favourite).
There's also a variety of more sophisticated savoury goodies, such as tuna, crème fraîche and caviar tartlets, beef and potato miniature pies, mushroom and gruyere cheese puffs and kingfish tartare, and lime and coriander charcoal cones. Plus, a generous serving of the Langham's signature finger sandwiches filled with a choice of chicken tarragon and spinach, or curried egg and rocket. Yum!
Guests will also get their choice of hot drink, including a selection of tea, barista coffee or hot chocolate with marshmallows for the kids.
The Langham, Sydney will also host their famous Easter Sunday lunch on Sunday 21 April 2019, complete with an egg-stravagent chocolate fountain and macaroon tower.
The buffet table will be laden with everything from fresh Sydney Rock oysters, tiger prawns and mussels, to cheeses charcuterie and salad displays. A carvery will include crispy pork belly, herb hollandaise salt baked salmon, lemon and thyme roast chicken, slow-cooked ossobuco and more.
Prices for the special Easter Lunch are 115 per adult and $49 per child.

Times: Seating is from 12:00pm to 2:30pm, or 3:00pm to 5:30pm.
