is a brand new establishment on bustling Semaphore Road. Opening its doors just two weeks ago, its decor is a mix of vintage class meets modern style. Its meek exterior is easily missed next door to Semaphore's Odeon movie theatre, but inside the shop is bustling already with coffees to go and groups of friends laughing away in the corner.

Arriving late in the afternoon, it was easy to spot the most popular sweet selections - the salted caramel, lemon meringue and raspberry tarts seemed to be the favourites of the day with only one left of each! A noticeable setback of the lovely display was the lack of pricing on the food tags, however, that didn't stop us from choosing the delicious-looking Snickers Cannoli to go with our coffee and chai. Mr Pilgrim is a well priced spot, you'll find the coffee and sweets just under the $4 mark. A large take away coffee will only set you back $4.60.

Service was friendly and quick - our drinks and delectable cannoli were out within minutes. The milk could have possibly been a little hotter for the Chai but the Latte was made to perfection - no burnt beans!!!

Vegans and vegetarians rejoice! There are chocolate brownies advertised as 'to die for' as well as other lunch menu items available. The lunch section itself looked to be full of healthy, satisfying focaccias and wraps - although again, no pricing was available so we're not sure of the price point.

Organic tea and coffee is available for all you health nuts and tree huggers! Can't wait to try this on our return as the varieties looked very intriguing! Other drink options available were what looked to be Italian juices and soft drinks; another aspect we will have to look into when we return.

If you do want to bring along a puppy or two, there is outdoor seating available at the front of the cafe facing Semaphore Road.

It's early days for Mr Pilgrim - we'd like to see the full potential in a few months but still think it's worth a visit, especially if you're in the area.

**We give 3.5/5 Wanders.

Where 1 Wander isn't worth getting off the couch for and 5 Wanders should leave a trail of dust in your wake: it's that good.**
