Delicious Asian Cuisine? Here's the place. Vegan friend? Welcome here. What about gluten free? We've got you covered. Plus, coffee. Brilliant and unique coffee.

Mr Chu Contemporary Eatery welcomes its diners to experience a range of dishes from various Asian countries as a sort of a 'best of the best' of oriental flavours.

It's really two restaurants in one. With the brunch menu during the day, it features the usual suspects in the breakfast arena and hosts a selection of Asian favourites and salads. Free range eggs, smashed avocado garden, bacon benedict, panna cotta, waffle maple chicken, chicken tortillas, Nasi Goering, gua bao, Buddah bowl, soba noodle salad, prawn salad, Matcha French toast. There are some different choices for a brunch with a twist.

The evening menu is really something else. From 5:30pm onwards, the dinner selections are quite refined. With small plates and larger plates, the selections from across Asia promote sharing amongst friends. Butter chicken, Penang beef brisket, salt and pepper tofu or squid, salmon sashimi, seared scallops, soft shell crab, lamb ribs with tamarind, stir fry wagyu, crispy mushrooms and Ying yang chicken are all enticing the diner to try. You may need more than one visit to experience all Mr Chu has to offer.

There is also something incredibly unique in this space, the filter coffee. The POURSTEADY machine is the only one in South Australia and it's a must do for coffee lovers. Just like wine, coffee beans tell a story of its origin in its flavour and the drip coffee method of this technology provides a unique flavour profile. The beans are sourced from Rwanda to Tanzania and the geographical differences can be noted in the range. "Adado" is a rich bean originating from Ethiopia with marmalade, creamy lemon and bergamot notes. "Rugali" from Rwanda gives off candied red apple and blood orange with a buttery body. "Kipenzi Peabody Washed" from Tanzania offers the taste of rich dark fruits with cranberry and maple syrup hints. All an experience in itself and a must do.

So, on the next date night, girls' night out or lazy morning catch up's, why not slip down to The Parade and experience the unique coffee, fresh Asian tastes and relaxed atmosphere that Mr Chu so brilliantly delivers.
