Recently opened, Mr Cheese at Norwood allows those living in that area to enjoy Mr Cheese's delectable cakes and pastries without having to make the journey to their Hindley Street branch in the Adelaide CBD.

Their cakes can be purchased as individual portions or as a whole cake to cater for larger groups or events. One of the cakes that we enjoyed was their Baci Cake, which is part of their Gluten Free Cake range. The chocolate sponge was fluffy and moist and the Jamaican chocolate mousse did not taste too sweet. A central layer of hazelnut nougat cream added a hint of nutty flavour to the cake. In addition to a chocolate glaze and ring of icing on the top, the cake was finished with flaked almonds on the bottom.

Some of their other pastries include their baked cheesecakes, more “normal” cakes and cream puffs, which are displayed for customers to have a look before they commit to a purchase. Its location in the newly renovated Norwood Mall makes it convenient for visitors there looking for a good place to grab delicious pastries.
