There's nothing that screams summer in NYC more than watching movies outdoors. Movies with a View runs every Thursday until September 1 at Harbor View Lawn at Pier 1. Music plays at 6p.m. until sunset when the movie starts.

On August 4, the movie playing is "An American Tail," August 11 is "Breakfast at Tiffany's," August 18 is "Crooklyn," and August 25 is "Rosemary's Baby." On the last day, September 1, they'll show the movie voted on by the public.

There are no alcohol or pets allowed. There's also no chairs allowed, so make sure to bring a blanket and get there early if you want good seats. Check the Brooklyn Bridge Park website for a detailed list of the running times of the movies, the short movies that will play, as well as the DJ's that will perform on respective days.
