Movies @ the Park 2014/15



Movies at the Park is back this season for children friendly movies. City of Tea Tree Gully is putting on a free outdoor cinema at Civic Park in Modbury (opposite Westfield Tea Tree Plaza) on selected dates for some free family fun outdoors in the warm summer. Refreshments and food are available for purchase from 6.30pm. Movies start at around 8.30pm.

They are kicking off with a special Christmas screening on 14 November 2014 with Shrek the Halls, Merry Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda Holidays. I love animation movies and I remember Shrek the Halls being pretty good. It's a fantastic idea to get your family in the Christmas mood in case the pageant last weekend wasn't enough! I'd suggest bringing a picnic blanket or low chairs to sit on and try not to bring a bar stool that blocks everybody's view.



After the Christmas season is over, the outdoor cinema will be back on the following dates:

16 January 2014 - Frozen
23 January 2014 - The Lego Movie
30 January 2014 - Planes
6 February 2014 - Muppets Most Wanted
