Experience the stars in the moonlight with wine

Summer nights make you think of sitting outside, catching a breeze and sipping on something cool.

Even better when that something is a fine wine from the Yarra Valley.

You could even be there in the vineyard watching the sun set over the mountains, and when the last embers dies, remaining seated for another show. The movies are about to start.

The last rays of sunshine

[ADVERT]Rochford Wines have run Movies in the Vineyard for the last couple of summers.

This year's offerings include classics such as The Blues Brothers, which launches the program with its compelling music and memorable lines; "We're on a mission from..."

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (wear what you will) will also be rollicking along.

And these are the cheap seats

There's also some recent releases such as the James Bond thriller Skyfall. If you can hold off until January, what a fantastic location to see it at. Or you can catch hold of Bilbo Baggins in the winery in the highly anticipated new film The Hobbit.

Great program

Other up and coming movies include the The Sapphires (about a young group of Australian Aboriginal girl singers who go to Vietnam to entertain the troops), Silver Linings Playbook, and This is 40 from riotous filmmaker Judd Apatow (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Bridesmaids). There's plenty of other options as well.

You can also make the evening as classy or relaxed as you like.
Basic admission is $20 but includes a food/drink voucher (value $6). There's Children's Admission (4-17years old) for $10.00.

All kinds of dining options

If you want to step it up a little there is the Grand Cru Experience plus a generous epicure hamper containing a bottle of Rochford wine (red or white) and a selection of savoury and sweet delights.

Or for $120.00 there is the Isabella's Wine & Dine Experience
including a three course restaurant meal and two glasses of current vintage Yarra Valley Wine, plus bean bag seating to lay back and relax.

All tickets should be pre-booked. You can purchase tickets here
