Movies by Burswood will be back in December 2012 with a fantastic new season of outdoor cinema. The season starts in early December and runs right throught until April 2013.



Going to an outdoor cinema is the perfect way to spend a warm summer evening. Relax and enjoy watching a movie with family or friends, pack a picnic, drag out the old picnic rug, beach chairs or beanbags and venture out to Movies by Burswood.

Bankwest is situated right on the Swan River foreshore and right next to the Crown Perth Entertainment Complex. This outdoor cinema has been a family favourite for many years and is run in support of a number of children's charities including Telethon.



There are now two other convenient locations for Bankwest Movies by Burswood. One is in Bassendean at the BIC Reserve, corner of Guildford Road and Wilson Street and the other is at Curtin University, Henderson Court, just off Hayman Road in Bentley.

Great fun for the whole family, you can take a picnic and all your gear along and enjoy an assortment of great movies. This outdoor cinema offers chair, beanbag or rug hire - great if you don't feel like taking your own stuff with you.

The movies screen every night, gates open at 6.30pm and the movie screens at 7.45pm. There is plenty of parking available at each venue and it's free.

If you get hungry, there is a variety of food, drinks and confectionery available to enjoy during the evening, including a popular sausage sizzle. The Movies by Burswood venues are fully-licenced and offer beer, wine and mixed drinks at reasonable prices.

The Bankwest , all three locations, are run entirely by volunteers. Over four hundred volunteers do a wonderful job doing everything from running the sausage sizzle, working in the snack bar, to hiring the bean bags out. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer at Movies by Burswood check out the website - they are always looking for people to help out.

Ticket prices vary depending on which session you attend. Tickets can be booked on-line or purchased at the gate on the night.
