I don't know if you've seen the adverts on tv or a couple of clips floating around facebook but apparently there's been a zombie outbreak at movie world just in time for the Halloween season, and for 30 bucks they're daring you to survive the night.
I say the night; movie world opens at 6pm for the Fright nights and closes at 10.30pm, so maybe not survive the whole night. For an extra $8.99 you can also purchase a meal deal.
Certain rides are open including The Justice League 3D ride, Arkham Asylum, Green Lantern Coaster, Superman Escape and Batwing Spaceshot until 9pm. Although 3 hours isn't along time to get on all of these rides, I'm pretty sure Superman in the dark is going to be well worth any queue time.
[ADVERT]So apart from riding our favourite rides in the dark, it seems movie world has gone all out american style for these fright nights. They have 4 different shows on including a 60 zombie strong thriller dance and 4 different live action mazes including 'the movie vault.' I have previously been in a live action movie vault maze in the UK, and if it's anything like that one, then I definately advise bringing spare undies.
And because of this zombie apocolypse we've been hearing about I'm sure the whole place will be over run even outside the walking dead maze and shows, so watch out who's behind you when you're in line for a ride! And as the whole theme park has gone to hell it may have attracted some of the DC comics bad boys to come out and play! Look out for the Joker and Scarecrow around Arkham Asylum! Can even Batman help us now?!
Movie world recommends children under 14 not attend as there will be alot of a scary scenes and themes. Costumes are acceptable but no masks or heavy make up to a point where you can not be recognised.
Fright Nights run 6th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th of October 2012, if you're thinking of trying to survive the night check out the Survival guide
