Throngs of pyjama-clad people are eagerly advancing through the gates. Attired in blue and white striped pyjamas, Bugs Bunny is welcoming guests and posing for photos with Tweety who is dressed in a pink nightshirt and matching nightcap. Movie World' s Main Street is twinkling with fairy lights and the DJ is inviting dancers to the disco floor with classic tunes like Dancing Queen, Footloose and children's favourite, Let It Go.



With rides, live entertainment, DJ, Pyjama Disco, face painting, photo booth and prizes, this is the ultimate pyjama party!

Held on Friday 19 August 2016, was raising money for The Pyjama Foundation, founded in 2004 by Bronwyn Sheehan, the 2009 Queensland Australian of the Year. Alarmed at poor literacy rates among foster children, Bronwyn created The Pyjama Foundation with the aim of giving children in foster care a chance to find their wings and reach their potential through learning, life skills and confidence.



The gates opened at 6.30pm and flannelette pyjamas and onesies were the favoured attire of the night.



Movie World's favourite rides and attractions were open – Green Lantern, Batwing Spaceshot, Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster, Justice League – 3D, Road Runner Rollercoaster, Junior Driving School, the carousel and the Loony Tunes 4D show in the Roxy Theatre.

Children and adults alike were boogying with Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Daffy Duck and Porky the Pig on the Pyjama Disco floor.
