Amnesty International, Norwood Action Group is inviting you to their fund raising screening of Michael Keaton's latest movie, The Founder, at the Regal Theatre, Kensington Park, on Thursday, 24 November at 6.00 pm.
This event is open to everyone to come along to see this entertaining movie about the true story of Ray Kroc who saw the potential and eventually transformed a small chain of fast-food restaurants into the multi-billion dollar McDonald's Corporation. The film stars Michael Keaton as Kroc and Laura Dern as his wife Ethel Fleming.
The Founder comes with critically praised lead actor, Michael Keaton, Birdman, screenwriter Robert Siegel, who also wrote the universal critically acclaimed The Wrestler and Director, John Lee Hancock, who also wrote and directed The Blind Side, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
The program is being held to raise the awareness of Amnesty International's latest campaign to support refugees and asylum seekers.
It is suggested you arrive around 6 pm, for pre-movie drinks and nibbles, and an opportunity to meet with members of the Norwood Action Group to discuss Amnesty International's current campaign to support refugees and asylum seekers, with the movie to start at 7pm.
Why? Ideal event to help raise funds to help Amnesty Int. support refugees and asylum seekers and at the same time have some fun seeing a great movie.
