Freebie on a Monday


On weekends, I prefer to work because of penalty rates and avoid the traffic when everyone is rushing to enjoy their days off. When Monday comes, workers go back to work and students go back to school. Then I start my days off.


On a Monday morning, I went to Jupiters Hotel and Casino. I am amazed that I get a free parking all day and probably at night too. I discovered that it is not just a casino, poker or gaming rooms. It has so much to offer from entertainment, bars, dining, events and hotel accommodation with facilities. To avail freebies, special discounts and other benefits, I have to sign up to Absolute Rewards to be a member.


As I was talking to the customer service receptionist, she mentioned about free movies on Mondays. I thought there might be a catch but I decided to watch anyway. When I get there, there was a long queue of elderly people. When everybody is seated, the theater was jam-packed and hardly a seat left. After the movie, the sea of grey filled up the restaurants and took longer to be served.
