Don't stay HOME, come watch it

Head along with your blanket and pillows for Kedron Heights Community Kindergarten's FREE movie night in the park to help them fundraise for new kindy equipment. Relax in your own chair, rug or beanbag and get comfortable for the screening of blockbuster comedy 'Home' which will have your whole family entertained.
There will be a BBQ dinner, movie snacks, ice-cream & coffee to purchase on the night from 5.30pm with almost all proceeds heading straight back to the kindy.
If you haven't heard of 'Home', it's a story about Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet who lands on Earth and goes on the run from his own people. He forms a friendship with a girl named Tip who is following her own quest. Through their series of comic adventures, Oh realises that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human and together, they uncover the true meaning of the word, home.
This type of event is one you might see across the city at various schools and parks and is supported by the Lord Mayor's Suburban Initiative Fund. In particular, this event in Kedron has been made possible due to the Councillor for Marchant Ward, Fiona King.
So if you're looking for a fun a free outing with the family, this will be a beautiful night under the stars. And if you can spare a few dollars to shout the family an affordable meal and snacks, you'll be helping a local kindy to provide the best materials and equipment they can for the kids.
