Movie in the Park is a FREE event hosted by the City of Bayswater at Wotton Reserve, Beechboro Rd South, Embleton on Saturday 6 March 2021 from 5-9pm. Free entertainment for the whole family means it's time to pack a picnic and enjoy a free movie as the sun goes down. However, you must register to save your spot. Get in early as kids activities and entertainment kicks off at 5pm, and be sure to be Covid safe by practicing good hygiene. Hand sanitiser stations will be provided, but if you're feeling unwell, please stay home. Please follow WA Government guidelines.

The most important thing to do is to mark the day in your diary and wait for the movie to be announced. For now, vote for the movie you'd like to see at this year's event. Choose from Abominable, Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite, Ride Like a Girl, and Missing Link. Voting closes 4pm Thursday 28 January 2021.

For other news, currently, the City of Bayswater has opened applications for the city's Community Events Grants. Find out more and apply here. Do you have a local group or club with plans to run events that will benefit the City of Bayswater community? The grants are a source of funding to assist local organisations to deliver valuable events based in the City for local residents and businesses. This year, the Community Events Grant has a focus on supporting the recovery of our local economy. The City encourages applications where events engage local suppliers and drive visitation to local businesses. Applications close 4pm, Monday 8 February 2021.
