To celebrate National Fish n Chip Day, the Manly Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Movie in the Park night at Bayside Park on the 4th of September.

The Disney classic Aladdin will be showing at 6.30pm on the big screen at the recently refurbished Bayside Park at Manly Harbour Village. Bring a blanket and some fold-up chairs and enjoy a movie under the stars.

At 5.30pm, Night Markets will adorn the park, providing an assortment of food, crafts, knickknacks and more. To complete the movie experience, a variety of snacks will be sold before and during the film.

If you have a family to feed or would like to enjoy a traditional meal by the bay, why not visit the numerous seafood shops that will be celebrating National Fish n' Chips day.

Aladdin was released by Disney in 1992 and was an instant hit with children and adults alike. An animated musical based on the traditional Arabian tale, Aladdin tells the story of a poor thief who stumbles upon a magic lamp. He becomes the master of a powerful genie who grants him wishes. Aladdin uses the genie's powers to become a rich prince and wins the heart of Princess Jasmine.

However, it all becomes unstuck when his real identity is revealed by the evil Jafar, and Aladdin must save himself and the princess without the aid of his magic genie. A classic film with a great soundtrack and dazzling animations, Aladdin is sure to be liked by the entire family.
