A great choice when you need lunch on the run in the city
I recently discovered a fantastic little lunch bar in the city. It looked fresh and clean and full of healthy goodies for that quick lunch or breakfast on the run. And as the menu provided some gluten free fare - this must be the best GF option for a take away lunch in the city. The menu also has some vegan options.

Lawrence, the proprietor, has done much research into his products, using many healthy ingredients. His latest dish is the Acai Bowl, which is popular for breakfast on the go. Acai is a berry harvested from Amazon rainforests and full of antioxidants, and therefore reputed to have many health benefits. Lawrence works long and hard in his business and up until recently, was finding by 3 pm he was feeling very weary, but after eating his Acai Bowls in the mornings for one week, he found that he had renewed energy to make it through the afternoon. His wife had also noticed the same improvement, so they are interested to see the long term benefits. The special breakfast bowls were long sold out by the time I visited, but I can vouch for the blissful berry smoothie, which is a meal in itself.

Many customers call the shop from the train into the city to place their order, and pick it up as they rush through the arcade to work or classes. Lunch queues can be avoided also by phoning through your order. Breakfast specials include super foods shakes, toasties and single origin coffee. Many customers come for the coffee as they demand the best fair trade coffee, and have found what they like here at Mouthfuls.

This is a health foods lunch and juice bar. The menu includes breakfast selections, such as hot toasties, fruit salad, sandwiches and rolls, boxed salads, and their own delicious cakes.

Beverages include espresso and organic coffees, hot chocolate, fresh pressed juices, super foods smoothies, bottled juices and drinks.

This lunch bar is committed to providing many gluten free options. The menu now caters to 70% gluten free and there are also vegan options available. If you have any other dietary requirements, give Lawrence and his team a call after the lunch rush and he can try to cater to your needs.

This small lunch bar is mainly for take away foods, but does have a table in the arcade with some stools if you prefer to stay there to eat. This would be an ideal lunch bar to order some fresh and healthy lunch to go and sit in the park to eat. Very handy for tourists. The location is accessible to inner city workers, and students at the TAFE in Light Sqaure, and Universities. You will find it a few shops into the Station Arcade off Hindley Street. This Arcade then leads underground to the Adelaide Railway Station.

This is a great article. It's good that it sells breakfast to go. I try to eat breakfast before I leave to go to work. I have a bowl of muesli and I make myself sit down and eat it slowly. I think breakfast is really important.
I used to go to work on an empty stomach and as I start work at 7.00am I was starving by 8.00am. I wish we had a take away place like this on my way to work. I will stick to my bowl of muesli.
