Let's go visit some alpacas

Have you ever met an alpaca?

I can now say I have.

You can meet one too at the Mountview Alpaca Farm.

The Mountview Alpaca Farm is approximately an hour and 45 minute drive from Brisbane, travelling along Lamington National Park Road, just past Canungra.

Mountview Alpaca Farm has approximately 24 alpacas; they range from creamy white with straight hair. to dark brown with curly hair. You can purchase food to feed them for approximately $3 from the shop.

You can also opt to have a snack yourself, as they offer some light refreshments.

The shop offers a wide range of alpaca products, from alpaca wool (knitting patterns included) to alpaca fur bears. The shop is open from 9am to 4pm daily, every day except for Tuesdays.

How about making a day of it and heading up to O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat and visiting the alpacas on the way.
