I'm an individual that loves being in nature - being in the outdoors is calming, educational and inspirational all at the same time.

Mount Wellington, Hobart, Tasmania
If you're heading to Hobart remember to head to Mount Wellington, 13km from the city centre (a short 20min drive). Remember to check the weather before heading up as conditions up on the top of Mount Wellington can change quite quickly up on the peak. Located at the end of Pinnacle Rd, the drive is a typical windy uphill route, which will get you directly to the car park located right at the top of Mount Wellington.
There is ample parking on the peak and on the two occasions I've been up to Mount Wellington there have been plenty of parking lots available. At sunrise and sunset you get magnificent views, provided there is no cloud cover.

You can also head to the Organ Pipes (a 3.7km walk one way) from the top of Mount Wellington, but again, remember to check weather conditions and bring appropriate footwear and clothing as the weather can change fairly rapidly up on the peak and you don't want to get caught out in bad weather up there.
