As the days grow longer it's nice to venture out in the evenings for a little bit of family-friendly fun. On Friday 11th November 2016, you will find as much fun as you can handle at the Mount View Primary School Twilight Carnival. Bring everyone for dinner, rides and games and support this local school community.
Starting right after school ends at 3.30pm you can run from classroom to rides. Be sure and check out the unlimited ride wristbands for $35 because you're going to want to go more than once. There'll be thrill rides, a giant slide, tea cups, jumping castle and even camel and donkey rides among ever so much more.
The Market Place will be an eclectic mix of jewellery, cosmetics, candles, greeting cards, rustic garden art, second-hand clothes and toys. You'll also be able to stock up on some homemade preserves and cakes.
Amongst the games and activities will be favourites such as the lucky jars, choc toss and even a haunted house. Then kids, don't forget to visit the face painting fairies for a touch of magical colour before the night is through.
No need to go home and cook dinner, some of Melbourne's favourite food trucks are going to be rolling in to serve a mouth-watering array. Meet The Flying Calamari Brothers and the Melbourne Paella Company. Try authentic wood fired pizza from the Soul Kitchen or something from the Curry Truck. Then finish with a sweet touch from the Rue de Creperie. In addition, the BBQ grill will be flaming alongside the fresh coffee van and traditional fair favourites such as fairy floss, popcorn and snow cones, too.
