Mount View Primary School is acknowledged for its high academic achievement, effective support for students with special learning needs and its peaceful, multicultural environment.
The Mount View Primary school hosts a special event every year and has been doing so for the past 28 years.
The Mount View Art Show showcases the work of talented Australian artists whilst raising valuable funds for the primary school.
Now in its 29th year, the Annual Mount View Art Show is renowned in artistic circles for exhibiting the artworks by artists from local and interstate areas, established and up and coming artists, traditional and contemporary styles. The artists this year along with their profiles can be viewed on
this page .
Originally the show was started by the Mount View School Community and extended into craft stalls, with locals selling their homemade goods at stall tables. Since then, the show has developed into an art exhibition of high regard, focusing on paintings, drawings, pastels, prints and mixed media works. Over the years prolific artists have been included in the show and our guest artist section.
The Mount View Art Show Committee aims to promote the artistic skill of 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional works in various media by awarding prizes for outstanding art works. Funds raised from the show go directly to Mount View Primary School. The funds are always used to implement long term educational programs for the children of Mount View Primary School, to improve school facilities and develop the school as an integral part of the community.
The School is still accepting entries for this year's Art show. If you are interested in exhibiting, please
download the entry form below and submit by Friday 24th May 2013. The conditions of entry are also available at the same link.

I know that those who have an eye for art, and can appreciate it are always looking for opportunities to view original art and meet the artist. This is such an excellent opportunity to do the same whilst helping a school raise funds
and help the students.
