You would hardly know that it's there if you're driving along the main road, but tucked just behind the trees in Bohemia Court, Mount Cotton, is a great expanse of parkland.

For the kids there are long walkways for bike riding, a basketball court and on one side of the park, fairly close to the Mount Cotton shops, is a skate park ideal for scooters, skateboards and bikes.

The playground is large with ropes, a flying fox and plenty of things to crawl up and through and over. The playground is situated in sand, providing opportunities for kids to dig and make sand castles, especially if they've brought along buckets and spades.

There aren't any toilets -- although apparently there are some at the shops on the far side -- but there are two BBQs, tables and benches.

There is plenty of grass for ball games and the surroundings are beautiful -- there are ducks swimming in the pond and there is a real feeling of being surrounded by bushland.

There is a fair amount of parking at the Bohemia Court entrance to the park, as well as near the shops.
