This was the view from my balcony at Alpenhorn Holiday Units in , Victoria when I stayed a while ago. It was amazing and I enjoyed sitting there in the peace and quiet (hardly a sound to be heard for the most part)

Sitting at the bottom of Mount Bogong, at the start of Kiewa Valley is the town of . It is around 4 hour 45 min drive from Melbourne and a stone's throw away from the town of bright and a car ride away from the very popular alpine ski resort of Falls Creek.

There is plenty to do in , from horse riding, scenic plane rides, treks and walking trails, monthly town markets, parks, sports, swimming, picnicking, visiting one of the local winerys or just sitting on the balcony of one of the many motels or holiday units a watching the birds fly over the majestic Mt Bogong (the state's highest mountain).
