On Saturday the 7th of December 2024, you are invited to come along to Mount Barker's showgrounds oval for one of the largest carols and fireworks in the Adelaide Hills. Family fun activities will kick off at 5pm. Children can have their faces painted and test their skills on the rock climbing wall. They can also discover the meaning of Christmas through a special Bethlehem Trail.

More than a dozen local artists, backed by the Carols Big Band, will take the stage from 7pm. You can expect contemporary Christmas songs as well as the much-loved carols with a modern twist. The kids are sure to be entertained by Once Upon A Princess who is back this year due to popular demand. A number of local schools will be performing too. The night will then finish with fireworks at approximately 9:15pm.

Entry is free. A range of food and drinks will be available for purchase onsite. The showgrounds oval is located on Alexandrina Road in Mount Barker. For more information, head to mtbarkercarolsinthepark.org .
