How do we remember our mum on mother's day? Many of us like to spend the day visiting and sharing a special meal. Giving flowers and cards and just being with the family. Mother's Day is in fact one of the largest days of celebration for families throughout the nation. This day is extremely special in society and the Adelaide Cemeteries Authority recognises its significance.
This remembrance of mother's takes on a special significance when visiting a cemetery to honour those mother's who have passed away. Many people have precious memories of their mum. This is a special day to gather and remember those memories.
A Service of Remembrance will be conducted at Enfield Memorial Park on Mother's Day, which supports the coming together of families to reflect and remember on this special day.
The theme for this year will be; "I just wanted to say …" The Service of Remembrance will offer an opportunity to remember all of the special conversations you had with your loved ones, as well as prompting you to think about the things that remain unsaid. This occasion is also a perfect time to express your love to those who are closest to you.
