Pampering Mum's easy this Mothers Day
According to the Oxford Dictionary to pamper is to "indulge (someone) with a great deal of attention and comfort; spoil". And who doesn't want to to do that for Mum? It's easy at South Bank this Mother's Day with the Mother's Day Pamper Place.
South Bank is very appropriately kicking off the pampering from 10am on Sunday 12 May, leaving plenty of time for Mum to have a relaxing sleep-in on her special day. The pamper station will be located next to Streets Beach in Stanley Street Plaza. Mum can sip contentedly on her favourite gourmet tea and get a muscle stimulating massage while she relaxes and rejuvenates. This is Time-out with a capital 'T'.

For something a little different you could try some of the other inexpensive activities in the South Bank precinct including taking in the views of Brisbane while riding on the Wheel of Brisbane, settling in for some monster movie thrills at GOMA's Monsters Film Festival (try Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein at 1pm for a few laughs) or sitting back and enjoying the pedal-powered ride on a Green Cab. All of these are guaranteed to leave Mum with a smile on her face and you without a hole in your wallet.
