Adelaide city or Mount Lofty Botanic gardens. Bake a delicious cake or biscuits, make some finger sandwiches or fruit skewers, pack a picnic rug, some pillows, and decorative plates. Pick a spot: under a tree, next to the lake, a table overlooking the flowers; sit back and enjoy a day out together.

Help mom with a house project.
Housework Tackle one of those time-consuming tasks for mum; paint a room, wash her car, steam-clean the carpets, help her with a gardening project, or join her on a grocery shopping trip to pick some ingredients for a home-cooked meal. If the task is too big, you can always arrange for other family members to help.
