Enjoy that special day with Mum on May 13th with sessions from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm at the State Buildings, the beautiful historic atmospheric Treasury Buildings in Cathedral Square on the corner of St George's Terrace and Barrack Street, Perth.

The sumptuous and delicate afternoon tea pleases palates with a selection of fine foods sourced from Western Australia produce including Granny Smith apples from Pickering Brook, Karragullen pears, Gingin lemons, Southern Forest green tea and crab from Shark Bay.

The choices on the menu are nothing short of mouth-watering - to mention a few - Chilled Shark Bay Crab on tortillas; Ham, brie, Granny Smith apple and honey mustard on light rye; lemon and Earl Grey frangipani tart;, and world class Southern Forest green tea made using ancient Japanese tea processing principles in a pollution free environment.

Cost of afternoon tea starts from $60 excluding booking fee.

Bookings are essential. Book online here . For more information contact 4861 687 780

Before or after your Mother's Day Afternoon Tea you can also enjoy a stroll in the Supreme Court Gardens or see what else is on offer at the vibrant new Cathedral Square (such as Blue Highway by artist Helen Smith), have a game of Ping Pong or reminisce with a swing on one of the many swings available to take you back to childhood.

What could be better? Beautiful food with a trip down memory lane in historic buildings, a stroll in the park, lovely art to be inspired by, a ping pong challenge and a swing in the park to recall times past? Mother would be well pleased.
