Bright sun, fin sand, exotic landscapes, infinite quietness, crystal clear waters… Here is the recipe of the perfect beach holiday. Which is the most beautiful beach in the world where to enjoy such a vacation? Many tops were made, taken different criteria into consideration. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? So, with no classification claims, and taking into consideration solely the natural settings, here are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world:

El Nido – Philippines

Featuring thousands of islands, Philippines is home to an impressive number of beaches, one more beautiful than the other. But the most beautiful of all lies in the North side of the equally scenic Palawan island.

After many hours of flight and even more time travelling by bus on badly damaged roads, the reward is significant: bay with turquoise waters, deserted beaches with fine sand, very few tourists, and a magnificent limestone coast.

Manuel Antonio - Costa Rica

A wonderful country and an increasingly popular tourist destination, Costa Rica is cradled between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. On each side, the choice of beautiful beaches is generous, but none can be compared to Manuel Antonio beach, located on the East Coast.

A small sandy beach, less savage than El Nido, but well preserved, Manuel Antonio beach is bordered by the jungle. Monkeys can be seen wandering freely on the beach, and the sloths, snakes, crocodiles, and other wild animals can be encountered not very far from it.

Koh Tao – Thailand

When it comes to beaches, Thailand does not need any introduction. Its reputation as a beach destination has travelled around the world and back a few times already. However, there is also a disadvantage to that: most of Thai beaches are very touristy and it is difficult to find a quiet beach, to relax in the company of nature alone.

This is not the case of Koh Tao beach. Not too big and not spoiled by mass tourism yet, this is one of the best places to learn how to dive, but also to enjoy the silence. Enjoy its charm before it is too late.

Camps Bay – South Africa

Tucked between the Indian and the Atlantic Oceans, South Africa is another country where the beach is never far away. Less popular with tourists, but as heavenly as Thailand's coastline, the South African beaches are beautiful and wild. Located in the close proximity of Cape Town's centre, Camps Bay is probably the most beautiful beach in the world.

Much more urban than the previously mentioned strips of sand, it is surrounded by twelve mountains (the 12 apostles) of nearly 1000 meters. Everything here invites to relaxation: palm trees, white sand, clear waters, great waves and a festive atmosphere in the surrounding bars.

Anse Source d'Argent – Seychelles

Seychelles' beaches are so beautiful that one could make a top 10 of the world referring solely to this country's coastline.

Located on La Digue - the third most populated island of Seychelles - Anse Source d'Argent features idyllic settings: white sand, turquoise waters, granite rocks polished by time as well as by the Indian Ocean, coral reefs. In the beach's proximity, you can visit a traditional cemetery and a vanilla plantation.

Pink Sand Beach

Located on Harbour Island, in the exotic, but very touristy Bahamas, in the Caribbean Sea, Pink Sand Beach features, as the name states it, a unique pink sand colour.

This is the result of the mixture between the white coral powder and the red plankton particles. Unfortunately, the site has a high concentration of luxury hotels.
