Are you in the market for pottery, jewellery, paintings, clothing or gifts but want something original, unique and fresh rather than the same old goods you see everywhere? Then look no further than the popular Mosman Craft Markets, Perth's premier destination for locally produced, handmade goods.
After the success of last November's inaugural market they're back again on Sunday 16th March from 9.30am to 3pm at Tom Perrott Reserve in Mosman Park where you can wander at your leisure perusing the broad range of expertly crafted and lovingly handmade wares.
But it isn't all about the shopping. A wide range of food items will be available, including Devonshire teas, gourmet sausage rolls, fresh tea and coffee and a traditional Aussie barbeque. Children are well catered for with a variety of kids' activities including free face painting, balloon twisting and a bouncy castle by Rosie O. The String Art Co will also be there offering sting art workshops for children.
Mosman Craft Markets are a community initiative hosted by Mosman Park Community Mens Shed and supported by the Western Australian Men's Shed Association, the Rotary Club of Mosman Park and the Town of Mosman Park. On the day you'll have the opportunity to look through Western Australia's largest Men's Shed, where men can get involved in diverse activities such as woodworking, metalworking, gardening, photography, and amateur radio, or take classes in cooking or wine appreciation.
If you're looking for an outing that combines a little shopping with a little craft, a little food and a whole lot of fun for the kids then mark Sunday 16th March on your calendar and bring the whole family along for an enjoyable day out. Entry is by gold coin donation.
