On the 11th of November, The Mosman Park Men's Community Shed will be hosting the next, very popular community event, Mosman Craft Market.
This annual event attracts an amazing selection of West Australian produced crafts and useful items for every taste and budget. It's also conveniently timed, being close to Christmas and thus able to solve some of those difficult present problems!
In addition to a great selection of crafts for sale, the Shed is also continuing with the Antiques Re-Discovered event, which is a great valuation service where anyone can have their antiques, family heirlooms or personal treasures authenticated and valued for a very small fee per item. If it's just too big to bring down, just take photographs of the item and bring them along instead.
Families are also catered for with a variety of foods from various outlets and, of course, the fabled Men's Shed BBQ. Children will enjoy a program supplied by "Rosie O", together with other "fair type" activities. Entertainment will be provided by "Little Sister" and "Ukendoits" from Fremantle, while the rev-heads amongst you can inspect the fleet of Unique vehicles, expected to arrive at 10:30am.
The Craft Market is on Sunday 11th of November at Tom Perrott Oval, McCabe Street, Mosman Park, WA 6012. Gates open 9:30am – 2:30pm. We will be respecting the 100 year commemoration of the WW1 Armistice Day, now known as Remembrance Day, by stopping at 11:00 am for a minute's silence.
Tours of the recently enlarged Men's Shed are also available. Entry Fee is a $2 gold coin (adults only – children free).
