On Thursday the 27th of October, Mosman Council is presenting the documentary 'Project Wild Thing'. The documentary will run from 7:30 until 9:30pm. David Bond has directed the film in order to inform both parents and children the importance of reconnecting with nature in the digital world that we live in today. And how in doing this assists a child's development and supports their mental health.

Still today there is quite a stigma to mental health, so as part of a campaign to reduce the stigma 'LIVIN' was founded. This October they will have guest speaker Sam Webb, the founder of LIVIN, giving a speech to discuss the issues relating to mental health and raise awareness for suicide prevention.

October is NSW's month for mental health awareness and Mosman Council have put together a fantastic community event that will educate and entertain all who attend. The entire event is free and you will find the cinema located at Mosman Village Green in NSW. Also, in the case of wet weather, the event will still go ahead but will be held at Mosman Art Gallery.
