I could write a thousand words about the Mosman Art Society 2017 Biennial Show, but what I am going to do is let the accompanying photos do most of the talking.



This is no ordinary art exhibition as there will be about 100 paintings on show from the 4th to the 26th of November from artists all over Australia. This will be one art show not to be missed and it will also be an opportunity for you to purchase one of these great works.



If you are looking for a Christmas or birthday present or have that spare bit of wall space at home or the office, then you should take the time to visit the show and the Mosman Art Gallery at 1 Art Gallery Way Mosman.



This prestigious event will be formally opened by the Mayor of Mosman, Councillor Carolyn Corrigan on Friday the 3rd of November. For those who would like to attend the function, this is a cost of $10 per person. If you have a concession card or are friends of the gallery, it will cost you $5 to enter and all exhibiting artists get in free.



If you would like to learn more about the artists who have painted the artworks, the Mosman Art Gallery Guides will lead a highlights tour of the current Mosman Art Society Exhibition on Thursday the 16th November from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the gallery and the tickets are free.

On Sunday the 19th November, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, you can join Mosman Art Society artists Bruce Harkness, Inta Charteris and Elise Brooks as they discuss their artistic practice and works in the current exhibition. The tickets are free and include afternoon tea.
