Try your hand at something new and exciting this Autumn

Budding artists of all ages are invited to join the Mosaic for Beginners class on Sunday 15th April 2018. Bookings are now open for this one-day class.

Held in a fun and suppotive atmosphere, students will learn a range of traditional mosaic techniques under the guidance of experienced facilitator Debra.

Running from 9am to 4pm (with a 1 hour lunch break at 12.30pm), students can leisurely work on their base of choice: the range includes a plaque (you can tile with your house number or a decorative flower or butterfly), a wooden/terracotta food serving tray, a round terracotta serving tray, a rectangular terracotta succulent/plant pot, or a larger square clay pot.

Designs are provided or you can bring along your own design idea. It's lots of fun and you'll walk away with a beautiful artwork to take home!

All required materials are provided including a completed piece of artwork (no larger than 30cm x 30cm), tiles, embellishments, glue, grout, sealer, Mosaic tools and protective glasses and gloves.

If the weather permits, the class will be held en plain air or in the funky art studio, which offers great light for creating art. The studio also features inspiring tropical gardens with outdoor tables and chairs for students to enjoy a complimentary healthy morning and afternoon tea.

Lunch is not provided but please feel welcome to bring your own and store in the studio fridge.

All students are advised to wear a pair of closed in shoes.

To enrol in the Mosaic for Beginners class, please transfer the workshop fee of $230 into Commonwealth bank account, Mrs Debra Pickering, B.S.B. 064174, Account number: 10336520 before March 31st, 2018. Please use your name as a reference.

If you would like to find out more about Art Classes Brisbane, please contact Debra on 0402 111 173 or use the online contact form.

All classes are held in The Gap. Students are welcome to make a day of it and spend some time with the resident Psychic Reader (Valerie), who has over 15 years experience at Woodford Folk Festival and also the Mind, Body, Spirit Festival in Brisbane and Sydney. Please ensure to book in advance as Valerie is a popular lady.
