There are so many hobbies to choose from, but where to start? If you want to try something different and new, then why not try mosaic art ? When you create something with mosaics, you might be making something for your garden, or for your home. Or you might be making a gift for someone. No matter what you plan to make, you will get a rush when you place that last mosaic tile in place.



There is no theory, or study to do while in this Mosaic Class. You make what you want to make, feeling what the art needs in the moment. You might be brand new to the mosaic world, and that is fine. This class is designed for people who have never touched a mosaic tile before.

Mosaics can be intricate, enormous and beautiful wall pieces. Or they can be small and gorgeous handmade gifts. In this class, you will be more focused on the smaller items. You have to start somewhere and doing an entire wall piece in four hours is practically impossible. For example, the ticket includes animal pieces, pots, or photo frames. For an extra cost, you can create a lazy susan, a mirror or a bird bath.

These classes sell out fast, so book fast. For your very first class, they are $90, and for a bit tougher class, they are $65. Bring a friend to save some money. There are also some group bookings available which help you and a friend to save some money.

The Earthwise Community hosts beginner classes every Saturday morning at 10am, and each class lasts for about 4 hours. Learn a new skill and find some inner peace while you learn. Make a gift for someone special, or for the most special person ever- yourself!
