Put your upper lip to good use this Movember
Is there anything manlier than a mo? The answer is a simple no. If you can grow a mo, then it is your honourable duty, nay, privilege, to grow one all November long for men's charity fundraiser Movember.

This annual facial growing gig sees thousands of men around Australia and the world sprout a moustache - all in the name of charity. The goal is to raise funds and awareness for men's health such as prostate cancer and men's mental health. Movember started in Melbourne, Australia and has since taken the world by storm. Last year, more than $124Million (AUD) was raised for the cause.

Once a 'Mo Bro' signs up they must start November 1 clean-shaven. From there it's all about growing, grooming, trimming and even waxing the hairs on your upper lip. There's also a lot of fun to be had - Movember organisers run plenty of national competitions for individual competitors and teams.

But just what kind of moustache to grow? Perhaps the following guide can enlighten you.

FAMOUS FACIAL FUZZ

The Hulk Hogan
The immortal Hulkster has been training, eating his vitamins and saying his prays in the squared circle for more than 30 years and his bleached blonde handlebar moustache has been around for the entire journey.

Hulk's handles are unmissable. It's part of what makes Hulk, well.. the Hulk! You wouldn't have to dye your mo the same colour but consider adding this powerful bit of upper lip fluff to your arsenal.

The Salvador Dali
Simple. Elegant. Effective. The Spanish surrealist painter obviously knew how to stand out as the stylish one in any crowd. Get a bit of length in this one and give it a bit of a twirl to really get some attention.

The Lemmy
This mo breaks the rules of Movember - but damn does it look good! Motorhead's leading man Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister's signature mutton shops and connecting moustache have been around about as long as his music. You might need a bit more time than Movember allows to grow this one but there's no better time to get started.

The Tom Selleck
Could it be? The Ultimate Moustache? The Holy Grail of the facial hair fraternity? Tom Selleck's AKA Thomas Magnum's signature mo is the very thing that's helped him stand out from the crowd. Sure he's big, tall and buff, but when all is said and done it's the mo that comes to mind whenever Selleck is mentioned.

The Rollie Fingers
The retired American Major League Baseball player initially grew his moustache to earn a $300 bonus. It's so famous it even has its own section on Wikipedia. This one is only for the dedicated with a fine touch - you've got to be precise with how you handle your scissors when snipping this masterpiece.
