The support is Bonnie & the Boys featuring Bonnie Lee Galea with Quinton & Ben will get you in the mood with more great 70's numbers ready for the Big Night.

How many of you remember the Come Out – High School Battle of the Bands? Better still - How many of you attended the concerts when the best of the best Adelaide rock groups competed to win this prestige event?

Well, in 1975 MORPHEUS rocked Adelaide and won the Come Out – High School Battle of the Bands. In 1977 they signed with an agency and management and in 1978, moved to Sydney. The band along with two roadies, lived a lively life in a four bedroom house in Lewisham, a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, for $80 a week!

If you have ever read, He Died With a Falafel in Hand, that will give you some idea what life was like in 1978 Lewisham. The band was rehearsing every day, downstairs in a shopfront and working five nights a week playing all their our own music.

At gigs they were supporting everyone from The Ramones to INXS and climbing the bohemian music ladder when Australian Music was in its prime.

In 1980 they changed their name to Damaged Goods, and cut their hair, and headlined the infamous Bondi Lifesaver. Their trademark was wearing pyjamas onstage!

Then 1981, things came crashing down with line up changes and illness. Worse still, the band was flat broke and their spirits low. Early that year they broke up. Even though it was further proof that " it's along way to the top if you want to rock 'n' roll," it was the end of an amazing three years playing the Sydney Live music scene, where Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil and The Angels were KINGS! During that exciting period, every night of the week, the guys were either playing or seeing another band.

Now 'The boys are back in town!' playing all the biggest 70's guitar hits that we all love and remember!
