"I'm always looking for things to do within a two hour distance of The Western districts of Sydney and sharing my experiences by writing for "Weekend Notes"...bushwalking,dining , markets and browsing antique stores are on my lists of activities ...

Morpeth, New South Wales is located 2 hours North West of Sydney, approximately 5 kilometres off the New England Highway.

It is set alongside a peaceful river in a quaint little town with English charm. Shops include a lolly shop, ginger beer factory with tastings of other interesting temptations to tantalise the taste buds, plus clothing boutiques, the huge Campbell store of beautiful private collections and an array of items of interest for purchase.

There is also a bakery and an old Trading Post with literally thousands of bits and pieces of collectables - including antiques and retro and vintage items. They also feature a horse and carriage ride for a low cost.

Meander in the sunshine and breath in the fresh country air.

Check out Morpeth Tourism for more details.
