Connoisseur
Miguel Maestre has been gracing Australian TV for years. Earning his cooking chops in kitchens around the world, he was head chef of "Number One" at 27. Soon after, he opened Australia's largest Spanish restaurant at picturesque Manly Beach. Soon after that, chef of the Emirates Melbourne Cup. With TV credits "Boys Weekend", "Miguel's Feasts", "Miguel's Tropical Kitchen", and now Channel 10's "The Living Room", his buoyant charm has catapulted him. So much so, he received an Order of Civil Merits by His Majesty The King of Spain. Yet despite all that hoo-ha, Miguel remains down to earth, grounded. Class act.
As part of Moro's
Eat Life Up! tour, Miguel'll be dishing up free culinary demonstrations. Not only will he be cooking up a feast, but offering tasting plates too (including authentic paella, cooked by Miguel himself!). There's no booking, registering, nor signing up required (albeit, keeping up with their
Facebook and
Instagram pages ain't a bad idea). With these relaxing alfresco lessons, vibrant atmosphere, Miguel's saucy Spanish accent, you truly can't go wrong. So get your rump down here, plant it, and enjoy, as Miguel takes you on a delightful, flavourful journey.
