Vegan food and vegan products are all the rage at the moment in Australia - what with activists performing for the cameras, it has had quite a lot of publicity lately. Vegan products are ones that do not contain animal or animal by-products, and they must not have been tested on animals in any of their forms.

The Peninsula's Vegan Makers Market is back again with a new monthly event. Here there will be all things that are ethical, cruelty-free and therefore vegan. Why not take the scenic trip down to the Mornington Peninsula?



This is going to be a boutique makers market with fabulous indoor stalls and different brands every month. The quality of brands at this event will be excellent and you can rest assured that everything is 100% vegan at this special mini market. Here you will also find many options and new things whilst you listen to live music as you shop.

At this Vegan market, there will be free entry as well as free parking locally. The location of the markets is just near the Main Street roundabout and right near Coles Mornington.



The sponsor for the event is Soulful Vegan Food. There will be no food at these markets but organisers are encouraging you to go to this great Vegan Cafe at 175 Main Street in Mornington. You could do this either before or after you do your shopping to buy all those ethical and absolutely fabulous vegan products. They make a wonderful cup of coffee too!

Eftpos and Paypal are available at many stalls - however, there is no ATM at the venue so make sure you bring some cash. There are banks/ATMs located nearby, so please come prepared.



Also, you will need to remember to bring your own shopping bags as organisers wish to encourage the reduction of single-use plastic bags which impact the environment.
