Seriously... STOP what you are doing right now! I have some news that you're going to want to scream about.



A sneaky little chocolate shop in Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula has just re-launched as a sibling to the most well known, best loved, and biggest chocolate shop of them all, the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery!



That's right folks, MP Chocolates in Flinders, is now Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery . You heard it here first!

From what I know, there's been no advertising on the brand new venture, except a sign on the window that simply says 'Opening Boxing Day'.



Like us, you can be one of the first to go through the doors, to tell your friends, and to taste some of your favourite chocolate and ice cream flavours a little closer to home.





We just happened to stumble across this little gem today after taking the kids for a bike ride around the Flinders golf course. Can I say, how apt is this sign in store... 'you scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!'



One of our families favourite places to visit is the Yarra Valley. We always end up at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery for a vanilla bean, or cookies and cream ice cream, you seriously can't go past either of them. Yum!

Though the range is much smaller, or rather 'more petite' than the Yarra Valley and Great Ocean Rd stores, you will still find a good variety to choose from.



The store is located only a stone's throw away from the Flinders beach, and a few doors down to a great park/playground set back from the main street of Flinders. is a great place to enjoy a family treat this summer!
