is a tradition that has spanned 30 years (30 year anniversary on April 10th 2013) and is held every Wednesday in rain, hail or shine from 9am-3pm all year round.

As a local, it's a great place to catch up with friends and to purchase items that are handmade, home grown, organic and free range produce. Keeping money local, and buying food less travelled is great for the environment.



Peter from Bembridge free range eggs, has been a regular stall holder for 18 years, supplying locals with fresh chemical free veggies and free range eggs. Peter's produce comes highly recommended from locals who return every Wednesday to stock up. You will find Peter's stall opposite the Commonwealth Bank.





Another local treasure is Kevin, if you have ever been to the market, you would have met Kevin walking through Mornington selling lollies for the cancer council. Please support Kevin if you see him, he is very dedicated and does a great job for the charity.



Jacqui's home made pate's and terrines look amazing on a wonderfully presented stall.



Creative craft dreams is a favourite stall of mine. I have used their amazing hand crafted items in our children's bedrooms and babies nursery. They are all hand made, incredibly beautiful and competitively priced.



If you need one more reason to visit Mornington, then this is it. Zeppo 'works' in the RSPCA shop every Wednesday morning and would love you to come and meet him. Zeppo is in fact Mr December in this year's RSPCA calendar. Zeppo was rescued as a one year old from the Peninsula shelter by Erin, and has been with her for seven years. Erin and Zeppo would love to meet you and help you with any inquires and/or product advice from the RSPCA.

After all the shopping you will want something to eat and drink, and with so many wonderful cafes in Mornington, it's impossible to go wrong. My advice is to try a new one each time, I am sure you will find a favourite.
