There's a fun run in Mornington this Sunday, 31 July at 8am, setting out from Mornington Park. Challenge your fitness, test how well your winter fitness regime has been working or inspire you to make more of an effort to do more. Or just for you to take a walk, jog or run among many and help raise funds for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute.
You might pass this beach if you run. If you see Frankston Pier, youve gone too far.
You could be one of those people who have all the right running gear and make it to all the fun runs that you can. You might be wanting to start running, but not sure if you've done the ground work to jog it out with the experienced pedometer bearing luxury sports shoe brigade with the designer hydration bottles.
No matter. Whatever your level of fitness, you can still take part and have fun this Sunday.
The run is divided into 3 sections. One of those sections is a 3.7km walk that most people of any fitness can accomplish. For those who think their lungs and legs can do a little more work, there's the 3.7km or 8.km run sections.
