Head out to Mornington Park at the corner of Schnapper Point Drive and the Esplanade from 3pm to 9.30pm on Monday the 26th of January 2015 and join in the fun of celebrating our great nation. Along the Mornington Peninsula other Australia Day celebrations by the shire can be found at Sorrento; Rye; Rosebud; Dromana; Hastings and Mount Eliza.
At the same time the community dance stage will be featuring classical, hip-hop and cultual dance performances by local peninsula dance groups. At 4pm you'll have Little Munchkins Dance Crew; at 5.15pm the La Dicia School of Dance and last but not least at 8pm the Mongolian Traditional Dance.
If cooking is your thing, there'll be free cooking demonstrations and Kid's Cooking Workshops by Sweetpea Cuisine from 3pm to 8.30pm. Between 3pm to 4.30pm and 6.15pm to 7.15pm the kids can join in on hands on foodie activities. The Pavlova and Spoon Races will be held from 4.30pm to 5.15pm and finally the Cooking Demonstrations from 5.15pm to 6.15pm and 7.15pm to 8.30pm.
