Andrews & Bing Christmas Swing will take Pilbeam Theatre Christmas Morning Melodies down to memory lane of the beautiful, 1940s, bright and engaging Christmas songs of the Andrews Sisters and Bing Crosby, on Monday, 9 December 2024, starting at 11 am.

This is a tribute to Christmas classics of the swing and boogie-woogie era. This program is a bright an engaging concert featuring three self-described sassy divas, backed by their band, The Miller Horns, the show replicates the close harmony style and intricate vocal arrangements that were the hallmark of The Andrews sisters.

The original Andrews sisters trio brought joy to many during World War 2. Together with Bing Crosby, they recorded many classic Christmas tunes such as Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, their iconic version of Jingle Bells, Mele Kalikimaka and White Christmas, the best-selling single of all time. Along with Christmas classics, audiences are sure to love a selection of other well-known pieces from the era.
