Power off your day from the start
Have you been looking at your life, and thought it does not look exactly as you would like it to? Have you realized that the blame falls on those small daily habits you have formed rather unconsciously along the years? You should know that they are not set in stone, and you can change all those counter-productive habits and form positive ones that will make your days better and your life happier.

1. Water

Water is the essence of life, so make sure you start your day well hydrated if you want to feel fresh for the rest of the day and get rid of headaches. Drinking water in the morning is a good alternative to coffee as it is also a way of flushing out toxins and of balancing the PH levels in your body. If you want to benefit fully from the power of water and improve your health, get an alkaline water ionizer machine. This home device separates the alkaline water from the acidic one. 2. Gratitude

Starting the day with a feeling of gratitude and appreciation will help you enjoy life a lot better. It sets you off on a very positive note and gives you the power to overcome any challenges and hardships that you might encounter during the day. If you think you don't have any reason to be thankful, think twice. Are you in good health? Did you accidentally meet an old friend lately? How are things going in your family? Is your career bringing you any satisfaction? If the answer to any of those questions is positive, you have found what to be grateful for.

3. Make a plan for the day

Sitting down in the morning and making a plan for the day is a very practical routine that helps you get organized. Once you have identified the most important tasks you have to handle during the day, you have a clear schedule in mind. This way, there are less chances you will forget about small tasks and you can set things into perspective.

4. Exercise your body and your mind

Whether you decide to do some Pilates exercises in the morning or go for a jog, it is not important as long as you start the day being active. If exercise your body today, think about your mind tomorrow and do some mental aerobics instead.

5. Do something fun

If your morning is not terribly short and you can start your day a bit later, try to do something fun before heading out to work. You don't have to do something big, it can be just a few minutes of solitary fun, but this sets the mood for the day, and gives you more power for the tasks that need handling in the next 10 or 12 hours.
