Your morning dance party has arrived
Ok, so getting up at the crack of dawn and heading off to the gym isn't your thing. Completely understandable. But if you're the type who loves putting on some upbeat music to get yourself in a good mood while getting ready for work, this may be the perfect solution for you.
When the morning gym routine just isn't your thing, grab your dancing shoes and head to Morning Gloryville.
Morning Gloryville is a morning dance party that's opened at 1000 Pound Bend on Little Lonsdale St that caters to your morning ravers. No, not the "we just came from a rave that ended at 6 a.m and now we are kicking on" kind of ravers, but it's especially for those who wouldn't mind getting a bit of a boogie on and get their heart rate pumping with some good old fashion dance music at 6:30 a.m. You know, because your neighbours just don't appreciate your taste in music in the mornings.
The morning rave has already been popular around the world in several cities such as New York and Tokyo and more as participants take to the dance floor instead of the treadmill to kick start their morning,
You'll find plenty of nutritious breakfast options on offer such as smoothies, and great coffee as well as free massages and DJ's spinning tunes not too different from your typical weekend rave.
Morning Gloryville is open from 6:30 am until 9:30am and just like the gym, you'll need to come prepared for a good sweaty workout. But once you hit your desk in the morning, your heart rate will be going, your mood will be lifted and you'll no doubt have a rockin little tune in your head all day long.
It's important to note that this dancey little party is truly a healthy venture, so while it might be cleverly disguised as a rave, it really is a fitness experience.
Children are also welcome (with a guardian and appropriate ear protection!)
