Proudly taking part in an international Impro movement Impro Melbourne's Mork and Mind is a celebration of Robin Williams' life and a charity show. Being held at the Eureka Hotel - 1 Church Street, (at the corner of Victoria and Church Streets) in Richmond on Tuesday 21 July 2015 at 8pm, it's part of a group of simultaneous events taking place in the UK and Australia.
The focus of the movement is to raise awareness of and to raise funds for mental health in memory of Robin Williams whose one year death anniversary approaches. All profits will be donated to Beyondblue. The Eureka Hotel has come on board as a sponsor and is donating its venue for the night to support the cause. The cost is $10 and you can CLICK HERE for tickets.
Mork and Mind is a commemoration with no fixed format. It's about lots of people having a good time simultaneously in honour of a comedy hero and a good cause. This show is directed by IM co-artistic directors Katherine Weaver (producer of the Soap-athon) and Patti Stiles (Veteran Improvisor and artistic director of the International Theatresport Institute). The cast features Impro Melbourne rookies and members of their Ensemble.
