Views to ‘Dine’ for
Overlooking Manly Harbour and the islands of Moreton Bay is Brisbane's answer to a coastal surf club. Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club is a delightful spot to enjoy a meal, glass of wine, beer or just a coffee and enjoy the million dollar views on offer over Manly Harbour and Moreton Bay.
Any time is worth a visit but weekends are especially attractive with the added weekend relaxed ambience to accompany lunch and dinner. There are plenty of options with many specials always available with fish featuring on the menu as you would expect.
My companion and I enjoyed a Sunday afternoon sojourn with a sizeable plate of antipasto and a meat selection of pepperoni, salami and prosciutto, which was accompanied by Kalamata olives, semi dried tomatoes, feta & roast capsicum and served with warm herbed bread.
We ordered also from the menu 'Tempura soft shell blue swimmer crab served with Asian salad & nam pla prik dipping sauce'. It all tasted delicious and was enough for 3-4 to enjoy over a wine or beer on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
There's musical entertainment on many weekends to serenade you whilst enjoying the views. The club staff are friendly and knowledgeable on the menu, wines and beers on offer.
